's left wing of the church collapsed housing the sacristy Dominican convent .. Work started on the repair and restoration for the conservation of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary to the undertaking 's construction Edilpepito.
The origin of the Church is rare, and is lost in the mists of time, it was donated in 1614 by the town of Positano to the Dominican monastery to live in that condition that at least three men who exercise their apostolate among the people. It was very rich in monuments, some destroyed and many fledged.
In 1652 the convent, under the bull issued by Pope Clement X, was deleted for lack of a quorum of the religious.
In 1696, a landslide swept downstream the manufactured cells leaving intact only the church and part of the convent.
The church has a square shape with a nave and is the only one that has the marble altar facing west and east. The semicircular apse is surmounted by a drum and a dome, on which rises a lantern blind tuff. It has no bell tower, it is substituted by two high arches on its facade, from which hang two bells.
