POSITANO WOMAN: Our Guardian Angels

on 8 March "International Women's Day " This post is in honor of those women who selflessly devote their free time to come with friendliness and high professionalism in times of need. It is the women's voluntary CRI of Positano and surroundings that we are always close in times of difficulty.

Women in positions and roles have CRI determinants in all parts of Italy's largest voluntary association.
The components of the CRI are the Military Corps, the Volunteers Rescue VdS, the Pioneers, the volunteer nurses, blood donors and the CNF National Women's Committee. It should be noted that two of the six components are typically formed by women who are otherwise present in all the other components, which demonstrates the importance of "Woman" that, particularly in CNF which is made by women of all ages, performed the task of social assistance and health care through listening, reception, social and cultural integration, economic support and implementation of projects particularly for social groups deboli: immigrati, nomadi, detenuti, tossicodipendenti, anziani, minori e donne in difficoltà. Compito del CNF è anche la divulgazione dell'immagine e dei principi di Croce Rossa.
Numerose volontarie partecipano alle campagne per la salvaguardia dei diritti umani e della vita. Il CNF si occupa, anche della raccolta e della distribuzione di generi di sostentamento. Il CNF è sempre presente negli interventi della C.R.I. nel caso di emergenze nazionali e internazionali accanto agli organi di Protezione Civile non solo con l'assistenza diretta ma anche attraverso la raccolta di generi di prima necessità.
Più che “Festa della Donna” queste sono “Donne da Festeggiare”
Per onorare la “Festa della Donna” siamo solidali con le donne volontarie alle quali ci piace rendere omaggio a tutto quanto riescono a fare per gli altri, più che “Festa della Donna” per noi queste sono “Donne da Festeggiare”. L’intendimento sembra uguale ma i propositi e i traguardi sono diversi. Queste Donne, a differenza degli uomini che sono avvantaggiati pure nell’essere volontari, molte di loro oltre alle incombenze di essere, mamme, mogli e quant’altro, trovano anche il tempo da dedicare agli altri.
Questo gruppo nella foto, sono le volontarie della Croce Rossa Italiana del Gruppo di Positano che appartiene al Comitato Locale “Costa Amalfitana”; sono appartenenti alle components of the VdS, volunteer emergency workers, the CNF, the national committee of women and young group of Pioneers. Nowadays, this festival is eagerly anticipated, women's associations organize events and conferences on the subject trying to raise awareness about the issues that still weigh on the status of women, but it is also expected florists for bouquets of mimosa become a symbol of this day, and in restaurants for the occasion will see their local crowds. These women help but celebrate every time someone reciprocate and feel well repaid with a simple thank you with a smile.
